| Pro-Performance highly recommends upgrading to gear drive cams if your 99-06 Harley has around 20000 miles. Stock Harley cam chain tensioners are prone to excessive wear, and their failure will result in damage to your motor and expensive repairs. |
| The 88" and 96" motors respond very well to mild performance modifications. Freeing up the intake and exhaust, and tuning the fuel injection, gives very noticeable power increases. The addition of a good set of cams will increase the air flow through the engine even more, and allow it run like 88" and 96" engines should. |

| Harley's hydraulic tensioners in 06 Dynas and 07-08 models, are adequate for bolt in cams and stock valve springs. However, we recommend upgrading these as well, in High Performance engines with larger cams and valve springs. |
